Maxsea 16-16-16 Carnivorous Plant Fertilizer

***This bottle of Maxsea does NOT come with the spray or misting bottle. Those can be purchased separate or in a kit.

Give your carnivorous plants the nutrients they need to grow larger traps, stronger pitchers, and healthier foliage with Maxsea 16-16-16 All Purpose Fertilizer. Maxsea has become one of the most trusted fertilizers among carnivorous plant growers and is commonly used on Venus flytraps, Sarracenia pitcher plants, and sundews (Drosera) when natural insect prey is limited.

Unlike traditional houseplants, carnivorous plants grow in nutrient-poor environments and receive much of their nutrition from insects. When applied correctly, Maxsea can help supplement those nutrients, encouraging faster growth, improved vigor, larger traps, and better overall plant health.

Pair this bottle of Maxsea fertilizer with the fine misting bottle to mist venus flytraps and sundews and a spray bottle to easily fill pitcher plants. You can also get the Maxsea in a carnivorous plant fertilizer kit with the misting bottle, spray bottle and Osmocote!

How Much Maxsea Do You Get?

One 2oz bottle of Maxsea carnivorous plant fertilizer has about 14 t-spoons. Typically, you mix one t-spoon with one gallon of pure water. This 2oz bottle would give you about 14 gallons of mixed fertilizer. The bottle has a lid you can tighten down so you can store the unused fertilizer for long periods of time.

Application

Maxsea is typically applied as a diluted foliar spray or directly to traps and pitchers, allowing carnivorous plants to absorb nutrients similarly to how they would digest insect prey. Always follow recommended dilution rates and avoid over-fertilizing.

Recommend dilution rates range from 1/4 t-spoon to 2 t-spoon per gallon of water. The most common dilution that's recommended is 1 t-spoon per 1 gallon of water.

Mist venus flytraps and sundews with diluted Maxsea. Do your best to avoid getting solution on soil or substrate. Use a spray bottle to fill up sarracenia pitchers. I do offer the spray bottle and misting bottle individually, or you can buy the Maxsea in a kit with both a spray bottle and spray bottle.

Whether you're growing a single Venus flytrap or maintaining a large carnivorous plant collection, Maxsea 16-16-16 is one of the most effective fertilizers available for maximizing growth and keeping your plants thriving.

Package Includes: Maxsea 16-16-16 All Purpose Water-Soluble Fertilizer.
