Premium Ping Soil Mix
If you are looking for the best ping soil mix, look no further. I have spent years messing around with different ingredients to come up with a premium mexican butterwort soil mix. Not only do I use the premium ingredients, but each ingredient is hand rinsed to ensure it arrives at your door step clean and ready to use. This ping soil mix is going to help your pings grow big and live long lives. Remember, your pings live in their substrate. Don't settle for a low quality ping soil mix, only use the best!

Hand Mixed
I personally mix every batch of ping substrate. I carefully measure, blend, rinse and dry each batch with love and care. I use the exact same method of creating this substrate as I do for my own personal carnivorous plant collection. Pings can be sensitive to dissolved solids and salts, rinsing all the ingredients help ensure we get as much of the bad stuff out as we can. This will help ensure your pings live long healthy lives!

High Quality Ingredients
I use only the highest quality ingredients. I've been using these exact ingredients on my own personal collection for years. All ingredients are rinsed and cleaned before blending to ensure your soil comes ready to be used. Don't use a ping soil mix that comes with low quality ingredients. Your pings will be in contact with this substrate all day every day, only give them the best!
Perfect Ratio Of Pumice, Peat Moss, Perlite & Crushed Glass
I've been working hard to perfect this ping soil blend. Finding the right amount of absorption but making sure that the mix is aeriated and well draining. These ingredients go so well together. The peat moss brings the water in and the other ingredients make sure it never stays too wet! Finding the right mix of ingredients has been a long and laborious task. I've tried many different ingredients mixed in different ways, this ping soil mix seems to perform the best!

Excellent Drainage For Ping Soil Mix
This mexican butterwort blend is the perfect mix of drainage and absorption. Ping roots need access to moisture but pings do not like sitting in boggy or super wet conditions. They can be prone to rot and do better when the soil is moist but not saturated and boggy. You want your ping soil mix to be wet but never saturated with water. This blend does a great job of staying wet but not soggy.
Pre Rinsed
This blend is hand mixed and hand rinsed by me personally. I use distilled and pure water to rinse the impurities out of the substrate blend. The glass, perlite and pumice are rinsed before blending with the peat moss. Once blended, the mix is rinsed again. It's then fully dried and bagged as ordered. Don't allow your pings to sit in soil mixes that contain high counts of dissolved solids and salts. Not many ping soil providers pre rinse their substrate before sending it to you. It's just another step you can eliminate yourself as this pinguicula soil mix comes 100% ready to use!

Crushed Glass
This ingredient makes my ping blend truly unique. I mix course crushed glass with the other ingredients. This glass is not sharp and does not cut, it's similar to the size, shape and feel to course sand. The glass serves it's function by helping the mix stay loose and well aeriated but also looks incredible. When the sun is out, I stop and stare at my pings every time. The way the sun makes the substrate shimmer and gleam is truly incredible. Now, not only will your plant be a conversation starter, people will have to know where you bought your substrate! You can even buy my crushed glass as an add on. Use this as a ping soil amendment or use it as a beautiful ping soil topper when you are repotting your pings!

Planter Highlights

Excellent Drainage - The planter features a raised bottom with unique drainage holes and slits for optimum root aeration. You need to make sure your ping substrate and planter are well draining. These drainage holes will be great for that!

Good Size For Pings - These are a bit smaller and need less substrate but provide a big enough mouth for the ping to grow.

Heavy Duty & Reusable - These planters are higher quality and should last several seasons before needing to be discarded. Stop buying new plastic planters every year due to them falling a part every time you go to repot. These durable planters will last you a long time.
White Color Reflect Sun - The white color will help reflect the sun instead of absorb it. Black or darker planters can absorb sun and cook the plant & roots. The white color will reflect the sun and help keep your plants roots cool.

Prompt shipping, great packaging. Came just in time for my first ping.
Alot to say here but worth it! You were my introduction to carnivorous plants so when I saw you had more pings for sale finally, I jumped right into action. Pings are delicate and two of its lower older leaves had fallen off in shipping but it arrived well packaged and very much alive. Useing the Pinguicula substrate mix and provided 4 inch planter i got it settled into its new home under the sansi clip grow lights I also got at your recommendation. Its been about 2 weeks now and the Ping has already replaced the leaves lost in shipping and more are popping up every few days. The pictures don't really do it justice but its starting to get its pink coloration back and sticky nature. You quickly eased my concerns i had about the damaged leaves and told me what to do which im very thankful for. Im trying with fingers crossed to propagate the 2 leaves that fell off since they were in good shape but time will tell on that one. Your customer service makes buying from you such a pleasant experience. The substrate is perfect, the Pinguicula is thriving,I couldn't ask for a better planter, and the bloodworm kit was also great. My venus flytraps experienced an good growth spurt after feeding each of them with the bloodworms. Im happy all around thanks again and keep up the good work. I'll be sending anyone I can you way and im looking forward to the venus flytraps you are cooking up for us!!
Love this soil blend, appreciate all the work and care put into making it, plants are happy. The added glass is great too, truly does add that extra pizazz!
