I didn't know what to expect from a Venus Fly Trap plant until I saw the video and accompanying product of soil needed for such a plant. I appreciate the YouTube and the website which are full of information and useful products. Thanks for the soil product sent in the mail with great preparation.

My daughter bought a VFT from Lowe’s, and I have been watching it slowly wither away. The soil is great, my traps are growing a lot better than the soil they came in. They were all grayish looking and did not look healthy. Now they are green and more traps have grown. The plant pots are another great item with the soil. They are definitely deeper than the ones my traps came in and seem to make a big difference in the plants health. Thank you so very much for offering these products.

We found this mix from the YouTube videos when we had the brief idea that we might make our own substrate. We quickly realized we were not prepared but thankfully y’all were!
Only suggestion would be to add a small “how to” sticker to the packaging for prepping the mix for potting. We weren’t sure if we needed to moisten the mix and how much. Thankfully y’all make a video for that too. 😅

Everything was packaged nicely and arrived in a clean good condition. I had about half of the bag extra after planting a VFT. This kit makes everything easier as a beginner. Will buy again in the future.
